Some of us forum members go way back and some of us are pretty new. I just wanted to let all of my "old" and "newer" friends know that I am fast approaching a long awaited total hip replacement with pelvis reconstruction surgery on April 2nd. This journey started many years ago and had to be put off until my weight came down. The bottom line is that I couldn't find a surgeon who would do the surgery until late last year. My journey is truly a work in progress. I will hopefully be able to be more physically active after surgery and rehab and therefore be able to continue my weight loss. I have already been told by the surgeon that I will always have physical limitations but said I would be able to finally get out of the wheelchair 
I am so looking forward to go for a walk, and back to the gym and pool.
