She looked at my logs and was shocked. I have the my fitness app. I log every thing I eat as soon as I eat it. I log the stuff I drink as well. I count steps and make notes of those. I have so many logs I keep up with that they want another log in on them. A sleeping log. They want to know when I start to get ready for bed and when I lay down for bed and when I wake up in the mornings. When my kids go to school I wake up at 5:50 in the morning that is easy. After my mother passed I have not slept but a few hours a night up north that is why I moved to Florida. I get more sleep but I have to fight with my kids to get them to go to sleep so I can get my sleep. My younger 2 boys are on schedule it is my older two. They are in the preteen and teenage years and think they run the coup. I have set the wifi to cut them off at a certain time but when it does they come in here and start waking me up and bugging me to turn on the wifi. Mainly the older one right now. Anyways my R.D. said I am doing everything right. That yes right now she has it set for 1600 calories a day that I don't get close to. I always get like 1100 to 1200 calories a day. She said that once I have surgery that will change and I will have to lower my calories to 600 or 800 depends on what the doctor says. But it should not be to much of a change of what I am doing now she said. She said I am choosing a lot of healthy choices and I am on track for when I get back on solid foods. and She gave me good ideas for some of the clear liquids and the liquid diets. I go back in May to see her again. Hopefully surgery will be done and I can get around on my own by then.

Thanks. I keep going even when I just get a few hours of sleep. I don't get to much time for breaks. I wake up at 5:30 every morning I have to fight with my 5 year old to get up and ready for school while reminding my 9 year old where his stuff is. Then I help brush teeth and out the door by 6:40 I get back around 7:10 and then the fight begins with the older 2 to get up and start getting ready. Then my husband asks where his clothes is. 9 years together and he still does not know where I put his stuff at even when they are looking him in his face. Then the fight with the boys with the shower. They both think that hour long showers are fun on my bills. But husband leaves for work and I am left to fight the battle with the middle school boys. Finally I get them out and then I am called to have lunch ready for my husband and brother-n-law by a certain time and where to take it. Usually by the time I get back from that it is time to get the two younger boys. Help with homework and then cook dinner before middle schoolers come in and clean house after dinner. Then finally husband comes home from work and little ones are showering getting ready for bed. They are in bed by 9 at the latest but the older boys are still awake right now

Mama- I raised one son and I cannot imagine having 4. You need more "me" time. It sounds like you have some good routines carved out for the boys.

I manage them. Everybody tells me that I have my work cut out for me but see I have taught my boys to pull their weight. They all help with cleaning and I have one that likes to help with cooking. I have one that like to try to make sure my burn is bandaged up before bed. My oldest he is somewhat in the teenage years of leave me alone and lazy as can be but as soon as that wifi is off he is the first one to get chores done. I have found ways to keep them on schedule. Just like my older two are down for the count finally.

My me time is my shower time. My husband is bought me a soaking tub. He is going to remodel my bathroom for me. Soaking tub with a rainforest shower head.

That is why my husband is going the extra mile to make sure my bathroom is to my liking. He wants me happy through this whole thing. 9 years and he stills acts like the beginning. We may argue at times but he does so much to make up for arguing with me. He is getting me a mini fridge this weekend to keep my special diet stuff safe from the boys he said he has to make sure I have what I need so I don't get sick because a family is not a family without the woman that takes care of them. Poor guys because they are going to be left alone for the days I will have to spend in the hospital after the surgery. Oh well they will manage.
