Had my final meeting with the nutritionist and surgeons assistant today! I'm ready! I passed! Now, I meet with the surgeon and the pre-op nurse.
Cardiac workup = passed
Sleep study = passed
Thyroid clearance = passed
H.Pylori = passed
Swallow study = passed
Psychiatric (x2) = passed
Insurance = covers
Got my instructions for 2 week pre-surgery diet and post surgery diet phases. Also instructions on what meds/vitamins to continue taking and which to stop when.
When we're finally able to schedule surgeries I'm going to be in the front group since the RNY will also correct my stomach and esophagus issues.
I can't wait. Please let this pandemic ease off as quickly as possible.
