Thank you, this will be a great thing to try, Right now her biggest problem i guess is the timing of the sipping, and all the other things she must get in during her day.She seems to run out of time on the clock getting it all done.Something we will need to work out,,Thank you.
Yes, the timing is key to success. I also measure my water out at night and put it in the fridge, because I love cold water but hate ice cubes. When the water is measured, even if it gets warm, you can dump it back into the pitcher and immediately pour out another glass without losing the chill.
For a while, I actually used a spoon and "ate" my water. Sounds weird, I know, but psychologically it did something to ease my anxiety about not being able to eat solid food with utensils.
Water consumption is a big topic of conversation here. Some people say any liquid counts toward water consumption, but I disagree. Water has a specific digestive function and the same amount of juice doesn't. Also, some people eat jello to make up for not drinking enough water, or drink bouillon and other liquids, but again, it's important to understand the chemical effect of actual water. You can look it up and also specifically look up why drinking water is important to weight loss.
I really like water and drink about 2 liters or more every day. But I also know how it feels to be limited to water when you want a soda or juice or something. My advice is, make it palatable and get busy first thing in the morning, for instance, by drinking a whole glass. I take meds and supplements four times a day, so I always make sure I get a lot of water in by doing that. In a sense, drinking enough water is more important than making sure you eat enough, IMO.
