Hello everyone. My name is Rhonda. I started my weight loss surgery journey in October 2013. I have one more meeting with my insurance dietician and that is done. I see my surgeon, pharmacist and my coordinator to schedule surgery. I have decided to have surgery the end of May due to other obligations. I am nervous and a little frightened. I am so close and this will become a reality. Woo... It has been a long journey just getting to this point. I have a great family and friends, so I have plenty of support. I have joined this group for added support and if I have questions I can get answers from those that have been at this point already.

Hi Rhonda! Sounds like we are on similar roads. I also started my journey in October 2013 and just finished my 6 months today. I will meet with my surgeon next week and set the date. There are some really great people in this group who can answer questions and give great advice. Let me know how things are going for you!

I see you have lost weight even pre-surgery. This is fantastic. I did the same as I headed towards my operation date. Fortunately, I didn't have to wait 6 months and do this and that like so many of you have to in order to get insurance approval. Nevertheless, you are ready.
