Protein Shake Recipes

I've never quite been the type to eat breakfast in the morning, even when I was younger. I realized in high-school that food just made me a tad nauseous unless I've been up for a few hours. However, I could handle drinks perfectly well, so during my Atkins phase a few years back, I tried a bunch of homemade shakes and smoothies made in my blender. Here are a few I've collected if any of you would like to try them out, as well.

For this list -
SF = Sugar Free
Milk = Your SF milk of choice (oat, soy, almond, etc)
To make any of them creamy, throw in a spoonful of SF yogurt of your choice. I love Greek yogurt for this!

  • Scoop of chocolate protein powder
  • 1-2 spoonfuls of SF peanut butter (dependent on your preference)
  • 1 spoonful of SF cocoa mix
  • 7-9oz of milk
  • 5-6 ice cubes
  • 1/2 a frozen banana

Lemon Drop

  • Scoop of protein powder
  • Pack of SF lemonade drink mix
  • Small spoonful of SF lemon pudding mix
  • 7-9oz of milk
  • 6-8 ice cubes

Mixed Berry

  • Scoop of protein powder

    • Alternatively, you could use water and a SF mixed berry drink packet.

Cinnamon Caramel Delight

  • Scoop of protein powder
  • Sprinkle of cinnamon
  • 1-2 spoonfuls of SF caramel sauce
  • Spoonful of yogurt
  • 5-6 ice cubes
  • 1/2 a frozen banana

Cake Batter
  • Scoop of protein powder

  • 5-6 ice cubes
