Sept 5 is the big day

After the long awaited approval, I finally have my surgery date...Sept 5th. My family is almost as excited as I am. I am so blessed to have so much support. Only two days left of work for a while. Still not sure how long I will be out of work.

Gram-Welcome to the forum. Congratulations on your surgery date!!! Make sure to let us know how things are going Don't rush going back to work. You need time to heal and you will be tired with low energy for a while. You need to get enough sleep and to take naps as you need them. It's critical to follow the meal plan, stay hydrated and get your protein in every day. All of this will promote healing and healthy weight loss.

GRAM24 congratulations on your upcomming surgery, and on the pounds you've already lost, you're starting out doing well, as others have said, when you feel well come back and share your experience with the rest of us.I get to have mine 2 weeks after yours, I am excited too the wait is the hardest part waiting for the approval phone call and then the wait for the BIG DAY, but you've not got long to wait. Happy to hear you have a supportive family, I do too it's great having family around.
