Slow Cooker Pepper Steak

Why, yes I DO love my slow cooker ;) It's just so easy and you can make a nice big batch of food to feed your family and/or freeze individual portions for later use. So, for me that instant pot has NOTHING on my beloved slow cooker!! I finally got around to making this and LOVED IT! And the family loved it so it's going into the rotation. Now I've finally gotten around to posting the recipe.

2 lbs Round Steak, cut into strips
1/4 C Flour
1/2 t. Salt
1/2 t. Pepper
1 T. Vegetable Oil
28 oz. Can of Italian Style Stewed Tomatoes
1 Onion, sliced
1 Red Pepper
1 Green Pepper
4-5 Garlic Cloves, minced
1 Beef Bouillon Cube
2 T. Worcestershire Sauce
1 T. Steak Seasoning (if you don't have steak seasoning, just season with a little salt and pepper)
2 T. Steak Sauce

In a large skillet, heat the oil on medium/high heat. Put Flour, Salt and Pepper into a paper or plastic bag. Add steak strips and shake until evenly coated. Sear the steak strips until brown on each side. Toss them in the slow cooker with all the other ingredients and let cook on low for 6 - 8 hours.

We ate it over riced cauliflower.

Sounds delicious!! I made a copy of it and can't wait to enjoy it. I am suppose to go onto the last Phase of the "diet", which brings me into weeks 8 and beyond!! I have been following my program to the letter and it states no pork or beef until then. I know there's a note about buying extra lean beef and I'll find out more next week. I was a big beef eater and I'm curious if I'll be able to digest it and enjoy it again. Meanwhile, I've learned to like ground turkey and chicken products. I can't argue with success, since I feel great. Meanwhile, I also made a copy of the Pumpkin Cheesecake Pudding and can enjoy that now!!!
