So happy about today’s appointment.

I last met with my surgeon at the beginning of November. I’d be less than honest if I didn’t say I was a little worried about what the scale would say today. Since my last appointment we’ve had: my daughter’s 16th birthday, Thanksgiving, a Friday the 13th ( which is a celebratory day for me as my mom, daughter and myself get together every Friday the13th to watch scary movies and eat junk food-no junk food this time) Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

I am so happy to report that even with all those specials occasions I still lost 11 pounds- I was hoping to just not gain anything.
( To date, I’ve lost 71 pounds.) I’m learning the meaning of everything in moderation.

My next appointment is Jan. 28th where I will learn about my pre-surgery diet. I’m nervous, scared and excited all rolled into one.
I know the more weight I lose before the surgery the better off I will be.

Yeah me!!
