squash soup

I saw this recipe and thought how great it would be for people moving from liquid to puree to solid food. I'm actually thinking of shopping for a squash just so I can make it!

AND adding mango to squash? My mouth is watering!

Is there anything lovelier in autumn than a warm, creamy soup enjoyed while watching leaves fall outside the window?

The sensual experience, adding a croissant or hunk of French bread for dipping and sopping... Oh my god, this is such a great food interlude, and an opportunity to relax and ponder the beauty of the season.

Yum Diane, this looks really good. Thanks for the recipe link.

Oh, it REALLY is! I think some people don't like squash when it's served as a side dish, but blended into a creamy soup, the subtle flavors really stand out! I usually have this in my pantry and can freeze into portions, but I'm going crazy because I want some, but can't bring myself to drive out in the storm to get it! I won't make THAT mistake again. It's pantry-stable for years so I'm never going to be without again!
