Surgery canceled!!!!

I have mixed feelings, glad it was postponed as I know the hospitals need to be ready for Covid-19. But then again wish it was over.

So many people here are disappointed but understanding about why. It's still very frustrating when you're ready for it! Hang in there.

My estranged half brother and I reconnected during this. He's 18 years older than me, so he's 71. He told me my dad's eldest sister (who I never met) is still alive in Florida at 99 years old. That if I don't get cancer, I'll probably live that long too. It's in the genes. I'm motivated now more than ever to get this surgery and live a long healthy life. Let's beat this virus's butt!
