Surgery date fingers crossed

My surgery was canceled and it looked like it might not happen until next year. Out of the blue I received a call and was told the 24th of this month then I received another call the same day from the hospital & the Dr. telling me I'm now scheduled for the 17th.

Fingers crossed because Oregon had the most new covid cases ever yesterday and my hospital is almost at capacity.

Son is getting married tomorrow and surgery is next Tuesday. Things are looking up.

Big relief as my surgery date has already been postponed for 5 months.

Wife's a little stressed about the wedding but I'm confident it will all go well. Way hotter than normal in Oregon.

James this is great news! I really hope they can keep your date this time. If it works out (fingers crossed here too) it'll actually be really nice that you got to do your sons wedding first and not have to worry about whether or not you'd be healed or if you could have some champagne. Enjoy!!
