Surgery this week

Anyone having surgery this week? Liquid diet over Christmas? I live in Texas and my surgery is Wednesday Dec 14
 
Yes, my surgery is scheduled for the 15th- Definitely very hard doing this through the holidays. I just keep trying to focus on my long term goal and think what it will be like to be able to walk into any store and find clothes in my size. I've always been very active, but have had both knees replaced and find that I'm in pain frequent - can't wait to get the stress off my joints! I'm lucky as my partner had the surgery 8 years ago so I have a built in support system.

I had mine Dec 6. Protein shake diet over Thanksgiving. That was rough. I feel for you on Christmas. Just remember, you will feel so much better after you begin losing weight. It will be worth it.
 
Yes, I keep telling my self that, I had planned to have it over Christmas so I could use my Christmas break from my job as part of my recovery, I was able to enjoy Thanksgiving though

Surgery went well. I had gastric bypass. Make sure you take pain meds and keep a little active to avoid blood clots in your legs. Make sure you get actual Bariatric vitamins and take them to keep up your strength. I didn't and fainted outside landing right on my belly. Set me back a couple days. Doing ok now.
 
My Dr told me to take Flintstones complete chewable, lol so I hope it works, I'm so sorry you passed out and landed on your stomach, that had to hurt ugh

Goodness! Im glad you're ok.
 
I am having my surgery (sleeve) on Friday Dec 23. This liquid diet is goin ok. I'm excited and scared at the same time. I sure hope this works for me.
