Wow thanks a bunch. they send me a menu sample and i don't eat more than half the stuff. i have to write down everything i eat and now i see it doesnt matter how often eat the same thing but that i eat it w/veggies which i haven't been doing much.

Need Quick Menu Ideas that dont include bread or Pasta. It's been 4 (four) since my lap-band surgery. I've had 3 adjustments need another bcause i can still eat almost everything. I need some ideas on quick meals for 1 person. I will take all comments on anything u think of. Thanks...

Lap=band is in the 1st few days after were bad. I had so much gas n feeling blahhh. but now its bn a week n I feel a lot better. no more gas n feeling bloated but i am so sick of protein shakes and jello that i get nauseous at the sight of it. my 1st appt after surgery is Monday. I can't wait.

well I ate pizza last night which was a big NO, NO. so i am going to resume my shakes. I didn't get sick or vomit but today i feel extremely full. i'm to be on shakes n liquids for the next 11 days. i think that's a bit too long.

i got the band on Thursday. have a lot of gas and some pain but doing ok. I can eat w/o a problem so it may have to be adjusted. I am looking forward to a new and healthier me in the upcoming months.;):D

karenina thanks. i just ordered a 10 lb container of powder online it was $47. i checked out meyeirs and the 2 lb was $17 so if the one i ordered tastes good i may order again.

Goodness u have all been helpful and i now have more questions for my doctor. he wants 2 wks of protein shakes prior to surgery and a wk after. i think thats too much shake so i dont know how i will do. i just wish it was less especially since i went on a high protein diet to reduce my liver 8...

Hi Gigi50 Costco has Premier Protein shakes on sale right now. Many people really like these shakes they come in two favors Chocolate and Vanilla. And since it is Costco if you don't like it you can take it back. They also carry Muscle Milk too. Good Luck
