    A Month Out, ugh!

I had the same gas pains and sometimes still deal, with them. Mylanta works best for me. I have only found that Wallgreens carries it now. It works quickly within 15 minutes and my pains are gone. You're doing great. Hang in there.

    Tomorrow is the BIG day!!!

Yes, that is exactly what I was going through. The aches and pains of rolling over in bed, getting up from the chair, etc. Glad to report the pain has finally subsided now and starting to feel normal - like again. Still have the blake drain in (which comes out on Wednesday, two weeks after sx)...

Thanks for the advice. I had one more question. I have tenderness above my G-tube (I'm assuming this is my new pouch area) and coughing, laughing and sneezing just about bring me to my knees. Do you know when this will get back to normal? I'm 6 days post op now. I can't wait (already) until...

    A bump in the road

Well I guess everything was going too smoothly. Surgery is still scheduled for May 1st but I had a bump in the road as far as getting everything done ahead of time. Got a call today that the take home sleep test came back positive so I am now literally sitting in the sleep lab waiting to spend...

    Surgery Early May

I can only imagine what that CPAP must be like every night. I did my take home sleep study last night and that was a hoot. I woke up at 12:30 and my nose piece was off then I woke up at 3:30 to the finger minister off and the machine had turned off completely. Hopefully it recorded enough info...

    Surgery Early May

Hi Stub46... I am new here also and have my surgery scheduled for May 1st (RNY). I know the feeling of having a million questions. It seems like I always think of them the minute I step out of my appointments. I have a pre-op appointment on 4/17 and my EGD on 4/18. I have a "bring-home" sleep...
