I'm about half way through A Game Of Thrones. It's the beginning of a long series, but since HBO is doing a show about it I decided to start reading it. It's a pretty good book, kinda slow starting. I'll come back and give another opinion when I'm finished with it.

Hey Bridget, I'm basically on the same boat as you. I haven't had bariatric surgery but I try to eat like I have. I try to eat low sugar foods, and a protein bar between meals. After I workout I try to always drink a protein shot. They're only 3 ounces and they help curb my appetite for awhile

I haven't had bariatric surgery so I can't recommend anything from experience, but my father is a bariatric physician and he said his clinics recommend the Flintstones Chewable vitamins to their patients. I'm not sure if that is going to be too much of the "sweet tart" flavor for you though.
