Wow! you are doing great! Keep up the good work. you are really close to your goal! I am down to 170 and still losing little by little. Not really trying, but still happy. I still eat too fast sometimes and throw up, but I'm really trying to get it under control. So unsatisfied with the way...

    depressed and grossed out

Update: I found out I am not experiencing "dumping" and have done a ton of tests this week. I have stopped drinking milk, which helped a big. Hoping to have the results soon and that they find something easy to correct. I think the green was from my remnant stomach as I didn't eat for over...

I was doing so well, then...

The thing that stands out in your post is that you not only recognize the trigger, but you also recognize you need to do something about it. Also, none of us can do this alone. All of us have had some type of issue we need to overcome, you are not alone. I would not only make an appointment...

    Help lost my motivation

I understand how you feel. You seem to have done so well and you can get back on it. Some people have advised going back to a liquid diet for a week will get you going. As for motivation.... Why did you get the surgery? Perhaps writing down the reason/s will help. How is your health? Is it any...

Well I am hoping my weight has leveled off and is on the way down again

May I ask why you were taking a diuretic? I take furmoside for my heart. My bariatric doc told me to stop, but I was stubborn. I called my heart doc and he told me the same as the others in this area are suggesting. Please understand. You bariatric docs are concerned with your weight loss...

    depressed and grossed out

Thank you Thanks for your support. I guess I find it hard to admit that I am not in my 20's anymore. One month post op is not all that long. I will call the doc tomorrow, but I really think a lot of it was that I haven't been eating. Will switch back to liquid diet and start again. Thanks...

Did anyone deal with Oxford's 6 month documented weightloss attempt?

First of all, know that it can take as long as 4-6 months to get all of the tests out of the way. Does your GP have any documentation of your weight loss attempt? My requirements were the same as yours. They were satisfied with a list of diets I have tried. Good luck and you have found a...
