Hey all. I am new to joining any type of forum/group. I am in the last stage of getting approved for my surgery. I wanted to join now becuz I have lots of anxiety right. I am excited to see the health benefits and about having more energy.

I will read through the thread and if the question I have isn’t answered, I will post it.

I gotta get use to this format. Lol. I hope to have the sleeve. I have my final appt. this week and hopefully approval soon!

I had a lot of anxiety when I went for my surgery. BTW I had gastric sleeve done on 11/01/2021. So I’m 1 month and 5 days post op. The weird thing I wasn’t as nervous preparing for my surgery. I did have anxiety day of my surgery. I was given a mild sedative to help calm my nerves. With that said, if you’re very anxious now, call your doctor for a script to help with you anxiety. Plus you should be able to take it the day of surgery. Hang in there.
