"Could you just love me like this?"
On Sunday morning at 10 a.m. I listen to Wait Wait Don't Tell Me on NPR. I was just sitting here drinking my coffee and giggling at the witticisms and looking at my feet because they were in my field of vision. And I started thinking, In the body acceptance movement, I never heard people talk about feet. We talk about everything in that poem (thank you Badgy) but it would be my fervent hope that nobody hates their feet so much that they can't stand to look at them. It's the only thing besides my hands occasionally that is visible to me most of the hours of the day. So, I am going to start from the bottom and work my way up to my new bangs and
say "I just love you like this" to every stop on the way.
