Almost 2 weeks post op

Hi all! I don’t know why I was nervous to weigh myself this past week. I know I’ve followed my diet, but I think there is always this “what if” feeling we get when we’ve tried and failed so many other times. As of a few minutes ago I’m down 11 pounds since surgery and officially lighter than I was when I met my partner. I never expected to wake up from surgery a hundred pounds lighter and I didn’t think I’d feel this good so fast after. I’m so excited for the future, for the things I’ll be comfortable doing and for all the activities I’ve avoided for so long. This girl is a happy camper!

Don’t want people Getting down after 1 week weigh. Had surgery, Was in hospital 4 days and post op dr check in 7 days later. Hadn’t lost a pound. Then it started coming off. I’m averaging 1 lb a day. In one month 35 lbs. I think patience is the big thing.
