I was looking for a particular photo and ran across this message from my 6 year old son.
I'll translate this in case you can't read it. It was addressed to me in 1987 and apparently there was "little time" left. But he would call again and also wanted me to call. Where he was supposed to leave his phone number, with the abbreviation "no." he x-ed it out and wrote "yes." Then his message reads "Dear hooever will pay attention I am going on a trip after I get out of first grade."
And true to his word, he ran away from home when he was 14, and several times after that. He had more Adventures by the time he was 18 than a lot of people have in their whole lives.
