Hi! I'm Miranda n I'm new here! I just had my surgery on Tuesday, July 26, only 3 days ago! I'm feeling really anxious because I have not been getting my water in!!! Only a half a bottle yesterday! It hurts. Are there any tricks? I'm taking super small sips....maybe I need to wait longer between sips? IDK!!! Help PLEASE!!!

It ought to get easier over time. Yes, small sips, perhaps more widely spaced-apart. If you carry around a canteen/bottle all the time, you should be able to get more in during your waking hours. I know it is hard; it was hard for me too, but I consider myself a cautionary tale. I ended up being dehydrated. At one point, I stood up too quickly and fainted, causing me to spend a couple of days in the hospital on IV fluids. So, don't be like me!

Hi Miranda. I'm one month out from surgery and still having trouble getting fluids in me. I get sick and or nauseated. I'm lucky if I get 24 ounces in a day. Has anyone felt like this a month out?
