Yesterday I went to my first personal pre op appt. I met with the Nutritionist, and the Surgeon. And I am approved to have surgery. Now I just need to lose and maintain 5 more lbs, and have a pshych visit, Then I can make a surgery Date! Starting to become REAL! Nervous, Excited, Scared.... I do realize it could still be a few months out. I just hope I can keep up with the diet, so I don't make it take any longer than it has to be. I have decided on the Gastric Bypass. Since it seems to be the most effective, and the one they have more knowledge on. Just wish I can press a fast forward button.
