Green Olives

I buy whole, unpitted black and green olives in a bag at Trader Joe's. I consume them in different ways, stir them into homemade marinara, snack on them in the evenings, etc.

The vinegar they're packed in makes a snazzy marinade, a companion to olive oil and garlic as the base of a salad dressing and of course, plopped into a gin martini occasionally.

Weird, because when they're pitted and sliced onto a pizza, i can't stand them!

Only 6 calories each makes them a good choice.
