Your pouch is still healing so this is normal. I think most programs still have you on liquids only during week 2 specifically for that reason. There are a few things to you can do to make sure you are getting your protein in. You can go back to drinking clear protein or you can try adding additional water to your protein shakes. If you make your own using powder, they call for 8oz of water, but you can use 12. It sounds counter-intuitive to add MORE when you're having such a hard time getting it down, but anything that makes it less dense/thick can be helpful. Like Julie said, consistency is really key after surgery. Less dense foods will always be easier to tolerate.
