My name is Rae and I am a Vertical Gastric Sleeve patient. I had my surgery on November 15, 2010, therefore just celebrating my 1 year-surgiversary! I am down 112 lbs since the surgery. I must say this was THE best 40th birthday present I could give myself! I am a mom to 2 boys: ages 19 years and 2 years. This decision has helped me to become a much better mom and, in general, a better person. I feel fantabulous! Can't wait to meet everyone and learn new recipes, excercise tips, and basically just get to share feelings and emotions with others that are in the same boat. ILML...I love my life!
