Hi,
My name is Wanda Newman and I am new to this support group. I am having my gastric sleeve surgery on the 16th of this month. Only 10 more days till I start a new journey in my life. My weight has been such a yo-yo for the past 15 to 20 years. I have tried so many different diet pills and methods, Weight Watchers, Nutrisystem and yes I would lose a lot of weight but only to gain it back with extra. I have several health issues, (diabetes ,hypothyroidism, high cholesterol, joint pains, gallstones( gallbladder removed ). I believe this surgery is going to get me where I need to be and help with most if not all of my health issues.

Surgery went fine, after 1 week and 1 day I have lost 13 pounds. I started back exercising yesterday and that seem to help. I am having some pain in the middle of my back, is this normal?

I'm not sure, I would call the Dr and ask, everyone is different
