How long post op before you can get back in a pool?

That sounds like so much fun! To answer your question, this absolutely is a medical question for your surgeon to address with you. Please check with your team about this. You definitely don't want to risk a serious infection by getting anecdotal advice here, although it is nice to hear about others' experiences. Good luck with this.

As mentioned above, your surgeon should clear you.
Basically, your wounds need to be 100% closed so there is no chance of infection. Everyone heals differently, might be 2 weeks might be 2 months. Just ask at your follow up.

Definitely check with your surgeon. But, I was 6 weeks.

I was allowed to return to pool water after 4 weeks but the bouncing and intensity had to be less than pre-surgery because it was sore internally so I had to self-regulate that. Definitely ask your surgeon. I'm almost 11 weeks post op. 11 weeks!!! That sounds so far out!! YAY! Anyway, I'm back to full intensity in the water.
