I saw you posted today and it is the 7th so that makes you 2 days post-op. How are you doing sweetie? Did everything go as planned? Are you home? If you feel up to it, please let us know how you are doing.

Thank you Diane. I still have trouble trying to figure out where to post things. Once again, I am technically challenged.
Today is 3 days out and I feel pretty good but this hiatal hernia repair is very painful and the wound has to be packed. I did not think I would still need pain meds by today. I am taking them but not every 4 hours, just when the pain gets really bad.
If I did not have this pain I think I could do most of my normal work day.
I know I just have to be patient and the pain will be less everyday.
I haven’t been able to eat much but I am trying to get my fluids though I’m only at 18 oz at 2:00pm. I better try a little harder for that water.
