HI EVERYONE I AM NEW ON HERE I AM ALMOST COMPLETE MY SIX MONTHS PRE OP JOURNEY. IS ANYONE FROM NEW YORK CITY WHO MAY NEED A GYM PARTNER? I DONT HAVE MUCH OF A SUPPORT SYSTEM AND WAS HOPING TO BUILD RELATIONSHIPS AND HELP ANYONE OF YA AS WELL. IF ANYONE LIVES IN NYC PLEASE HIT ME UP WE CAN GO WALKING TOGETHER, EXERCISE, ETC. IF YOU DO NOT LIVE IN NYC YOU ARE STILL WELCOME TO HIT ME UP ANYONE CAN STILL BE A GOOD SUPPORT SYSTEM. WE CAN FACETIME WHEN WE AT THE GYM, ETC. WHAT ARE SOME OF YA EXPERIENCES WITH THE SURGERY? I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT MONDAY MORNING FOR A HEART SONOGRAM AND ANOTHER EKG. SURGERY WILL BE IN JULY. HAVE ANYONE HAD TROUBLE LOSING THE REQUIREMENT WEIGHT? IF SO WHAT HELP YOU TO GET ON TRACK? I LOST TEN POUND EACH MONTH FOR ALMOST THREE MONTHS AND I WENT THERE A FEW DAYS AND GAIN SEVEN POUNDS I CRIED BECAUSE I REALLY THOUGHT I WAS TRYING BUT THE CRAVINGS IS SO HARD I AM GOING TO CONTINUE DOING WHAT I WAS DOING BEFORE WHICH WAS APPLE CIDER VINEGAR TWICE A DAY AND BALLERINA TEA THREE TIMES A DAY IT HELPED ALOT
 
Hello, and welcome congrats on your weight loss so far, before surgery I just watched what I ate and wrote everything down, that really helps so you know what you are eating, write it down before it goes in your mouth so you hold yourself accountable for it. Good luck
 
Welcome. I'm also new to the site. My surgery is set for May 15th.
As for weight loss I agree with writing it down. I also took this pre op time to start preparing for after surgery and started to have protein shakes for one -2 meals a day and focus on a healthy dinner with lean protein and veggies. Also keeping meals at 50 carbs or less and snacks at 15 carbs helped
