Rant-We don’t have a big house. Everyone has their own space except me. When I need to escape I got to my bed. My daughter is 9 and can be on her electronics or playing with her brothers all day totally ignoring me, but as soon as I go for some me time, she’s right there! It’s like she smells my need for isolation. I’m sure someone’s going to say or think, you’ll miss it when she’s moved out and older! Maybe I will, but we’ve all been together everyday for the past 40 days, so a little space isn’t that much to ask. - Rant done.

I've been a mom for almost 41 years. I can I assure you that there is a recognized scientific phenomenon where as soon as a parent gets on the phone, the child start interrupting and needing attention. You practically have to go to a phone booth.

Ive always been fortunate that no one bothers me while I’m in the bathroom. I guess that needs to be my isolation space LOL
