Saw an article in WebMD magazine in a waiting room on male body image. Never heard these details and diagnosis before. I have known one male anorectic in my life but didn't think of GI Joe as a male Barbie doll.

One of my sons has major body image issues, and although they are better as he ages and gets more comfortable with who he is apart from appearance, there are still times that is hard for him to see himself physically as he actually is. Of course, I realize I am biased, but he truly is very handsome and chiseled (not musclebound, but that is not what he wants to be).
