Hello Cathy, and thanks for joining the American Bariatrics Forum! I believe you will find that there are a lot of very helpful members here that are always willing and eager to provide support and guidance. Congratulations on getting your surgery scheduled! May I ask which bariatric surgery you are going to be undergoing?
 
I'm having the gastric bypass. I have Kaiser Permanente insurance and that is the only procedure that they do. According to my surgeon it is the most effective and proven successful one. It is still a arthroscopic procedure so I'm hoping my recovery is short.
 
Cathy. Congrats on your upcoming surgery. I too am having bypass with the scope. My surgery is the 18th of this month. I'm amazed at how quickly the time has flown. Good luck on your surgery and I look forward to getting to know you.
