Question on post op eating

Most people only eat a few ounces, especially in the beginning stages. That is why you need protein drinks at the start. Eventually, you will be able to eat at least the majority of your protein. There is a lot of protein in 2 oz of tuna, chicken breast, turkey etc. You really have to focus your eating habits on protein first.

Right after surgery while your stomach is healing you won't be able to meet you protein and water goals. They will have you drink only a couple ounces at a time. I bought a package of disposable "shot glass cups" meant for parties to make it easier. Little by little you will be able to drink more at a time.

Your surgery is getting close! I wish you all the best!
