A year ago I went to an amusement park and felt so self conscious about my size. I felt bad I had to tell my then 4 yr old no, Daddy can ride mommy can wait here for you. Every time I said it if felt worse I actually decided that night I was going to get some info on a revision surgery. Last weekend I went back to the same theme park and actually was able to join both my boys on the rides. No second guessing if I would fit in the seats or be turned away while trying to take my sons on the rides. It was a wonderful feeling and I know the weight loss is slow and steady but I'm happy. I am currently 8 months post op and 86 lbs down and I'm hoping to get under 200 lbs by my 1yr anniversary.
