Struggling today with bad news. My foster children I had for three years was moved from my home today. I am struggling with my emotions and my eating. I don't usually allow others in my world but they got in anyway.
I’m sorry for the situation you are dealing with. So many times when things are out of our control we cope with what we can control. We control what we eat, and how we react. You are allowed to be frustrated, upset, angry, and sad, but don’t let those emotions control you’re decision. I hope things get better really soon.
Shar, I am sorry for your struggle today. It is a loss. However, you should be proud that while you may be hurting, you made a difference in those kids lives. Not every foster does (or can) give of their hearts and genuine caring is the very best gift a child can receive. It is also the best gift you can give yourself. So stay strong and treat yourself with the love and care you deserve.
I'm so sorry for what you are going through. It is important that you take care of your health, now. This includes making the right food choices. I'm sure that the children will always remember their time with you and you will be in their hearts forever. Take care.
What a gift you gave those children. It is a special person who can do what you did taking in foster children. I can’t imagine how you must be feeling right now. You and your foster children are in my thoughts and prayers.
