My 80 year old mother and I went on a 9 day road trip from Washington to Idaho to Montana to North Dakota to Minnesota back through North Dakota to South Dakota to Wyoming to Montana to Idaho and back to Washington. Whew! We only ate in restaurants 4 times. I took all of my meal powders, collagens, vitamins, drinks....everything. I kept my protein up fairly well, was harder to keep fluid intake at optimum. If I became uncomfortable in my pouch and intestines we'd stop and I'd walk it out. For the most part I am calling this trip a gastric bypass success. I'm three and a half months post-op.
