I just made my appointment for my initial surgery consult. This is actually my second attempt at surgery. One of my previous employers covered lap band surgery and I was *thisclose* but couldn't make the finances work for various reasons.
Three years later, my new employer covers multiple types of surgeries so I'm trying again. My consult is Friday afternoon and I'm nervous and excited. At least this time I'll be prepared to go cold turkey on carbs!
