Ulcer

So it has been found that I have an ulcer at the incision site in my stomach right above the opening for the small intestines from my bypass surgery (I am six months out from having my surgery). This was found about a month ago but the doctors said that the ulcer is pretty big and bad. Told me I was very lucky it did not perforate the stomach. It was very painful and I was in the hospital for two days because of it. I was told three to six months to fully heal but I am looking more at six months because of the size. I was wondering if anyone else got an ulcer from their surgery as my PCP told me that he sees them in bypass patients all the time but my doctor who did my bypass said that it is not common. I was curious how many people here might have gotten an ulcer and if it is common or not to get one. Also, what did you do to help yourself be able to eat and get the nourishment that you need. I am still having issues keeping food down and keeping my stomach pain down as well. I have gone back to both my PCP and my the doctor who did my surgery but they both keep just upping my anti-nausea meds telling me that if I can keep the vomiting down I will be fine. I am on a very strong ani-nausea med and I still throw up after I eat, not as often as I did before however. I would say out of 7 days I throw up at least 5 of those days. I feel like I am not being listened to about my pain/vomiting and eating is now even harder because it is such an unpleasant experience. I have have basically gone back to a bland diet to hopefully be able to keep food down. I was hoping someone had some ideas or experience in what I am experience and can give me some advice or ideas on how to handle what is going on.

You need to see a gastric specialist right now. Don't go to someone who's already seen you. And don't diagnose yourself. Just tell the specialist your symptoms and DON'T DELAY. This is extremely serious.
