Week 3

You might want to wait a little bit or just put some of the liquid in or on your food for the flavor. Start new foods slowly so you know what agrees with your new stomach now.
 
Also, you can mash solid foods into pastes or soupy sauces. You have fewer digestive juices to break down solids, and also to absorb nutrients.

Your new stomach is a pouch about the size of an extra-large chicken egg. It's easy to overfill it. Four or five bites of solid food might be as much as it can handle. Eat slowly and pause between bites to feel the food moving down your throat into your pouch.

That's okay, though, because you get a better sense of being full without nausea or feeling stuffed.

For me, this was like discovering how delicious food could be. I savored every morsel.

Relish would be easy to moosh up with a mortar and pestle.
