So very true, but in my case they seem harder to get out!I'll let you know when it does...now 14 months post op. It should get a bit better, but I think many of us burp or at least feel the need to burp more often after surgery for quite some time, if not long-term.
Me too! I have a very hard time burping. The first few days after surgery they were flying out. Now I feel like I struggle to burp and it’s really uncomfortable. So very true, but in my case they seem harder to get out!
I want to say mine ended around month one. But even then, sometimes I will eat something now that just causes excess air to come up but overall it doesn’t happen.Hi everyone, I'm 6 days post op and I find myself burping after almost every sip. I'm guessing it's normal for now but when does that end? Thanks in advance.
I've read a lot of posts indicating increased flatulence, but neither farting nor burping has increased since RYGB for me.Does the type of surgery make a difference? Just out of curiosity, could we please share surgery type & if we have burping issues or no?
I had gastric bypass and have no burping issues. In fact it is quite difficult for me to burp. I was told RnY surgery was good for dealing with GERD, so maybe it's all related?!!
That is how it is for me nowI had bypass and have trouble getting burps out.
