I am having some questions. 1. When the weight strats to come off do you loos your boobs?, or do they sag or what I am a 42DD now and I was just wondering that last night. 2. How much do you loos in the 1st month, what size clothes should I get ready I am in a size 20 women's now. Well that's all for now...........

What and where you loose weight is different for everyone

Good luck with your prep it will come up quickly

Had my Gastric Sleeve on June 15th. Have lost 12 lbs in 10 days. I have to tell you is your worried about your boobs, then plan on buying smaller bras. your not going to have all that after loosing the weight that's supposed to make you healthier. Boobs aren't the important issue. Weight comes off of everyone differently. Depends on Exercise, following the diet after surgery and follow up appointments with your MD. It's important to remember why your having the surgery and to remember if you are in control or your body is feeding you false information. Make sure that you focus on Protein and water more than anything else. Let us know how you're doing. Good luck and stay healthy!

LMAO :)

Yes, I lost weight in my boobs and I am a male!

Seriously, weight will come off all over.

I am at goal now and I have a huge amount of excess skin around my belly, which is where most of my weight is.

I have some "bat wing" underarms but not bad. Many women get this.

Toning up as much as possible helps, but the fact is there will be excess skin all over the place.

I have thought about removing the excess skin but that isn't covered under insurance; it is cosmetic.

You can explore that if you wish.

but first get there.

This is a new way of life.

On the other hand there are so many other benefits. Here is my list of benefits that I journaled as I lost weight.

Accomplishments as a result of my Bariatric Gastric Bypass (11/4/2013)

• Diabetes resolved – off all meds, avg reading 110
• BP normal again – I am still taking bystolic 5mg. Resting pulse is around 60 and BP near or below 120/80. Without the bystolic my resting pulse is still in the 60s. However, my BP goes up to the high 130s/high 80s.
• Sleep Apnea resolved – I am not snoring nor do I believe I am stopping breathing. I will confirm this later this year.
• Legs no longer swollen
• Waist size has shrunk – Wearing size 44 pants
• Feet are smaller – I was able to put a pair of dress shoes on that I haven’t been able to wear.
• I stay under 1200 calories a day. Most days around 1000 calories.
• I have a lot more energy and I can dance, dance and dance!
• I can walk up neighborhood hills aggressively without having to stop; no longer breathless.
• My incontinence due to my prostatectomy has been resolved.
• I am able to sleep in my bed again. I had been sleeping In an upright chair to be comfortable.
• Dramatically reduced backaches; almost completely gone.
• I can bend over and tie my shoes now and I can see my toes.
• I can do dance steps again that I couldn’t do. The belly is gone!
• Now wearing size 42 slacks.
• Starting to sleep on my side again! This has happened in years!
• Intimacy much improved !!! 
• Fit in to a small diner booth !
• I can run up and down stairs several times without becoming breathless
• I squeeze out between two cars that were tightly parked together. A year ago I couldn’t get out of the car; I would be trapped.
• I squeezed into a size 38 pair of pants. (6/1/2014)
• Sleeping on side is comfortable now. (6/1/2014)
• Sleeping flat on my back is doing fine too. No longer need to be propped up. (6/1/2014)
• I have reached my goal of under 200. I weigh 197 (9/9/2014)
• Size 38 Pants fitting comfortably now (9/9/2014)

hi everyone my name is cookie481 and i just get my surgery date 2/3/2016 i am very scared but excited ,i didnt start my pre op until i see the nurtinist i will see 1/26/2016 any adviice

Hi Cookie! It's natural to be both excited and scared. We have all been there! I procrastinated for over 10 years before I went ahead with my weight loss surgery. It was so much easier and less painfull than I expected. Laparoscopic surgery is so much less invasive and less painfull than regular surgery. Just follow your surgeon's instructions to the letter and you will do great! My gastric bypass surgery was the best thing that ever happened to me. I would do it over in a minute!!!

How did today go at the nutritionist?

Best of Luck,

Cheyenne
