you only get what you give

it's important to validate one another by responding to others' posts, especially if someone has helped you. we all come here because we need something, or we hurt, or we're scared. most people don't come here to rejoice over something. if we didn't have some hole in our hearts, we wouldn't need to fill the hole with food.

It doesn't give someone a warm feeling to share stuff that's hard to talk about & get no replies even though 50 or 60 people read the post. our feelings are real. we are real people. it's hard to find supportive friends randomly in daily life. it's also unfortunate there are people who would go out of their way to hurt or insult you.

this is just a reminder that without support, we have no support group. many people have been here for you. please be here for someone, too.

I am so happy that I found this group. Our interactions are priceless to me. I don’t have friends who struggle with their weight or have to deal with weight related issues, so having this group has been awesome. You are all amazing
