I would keep it simple, I like smoked salmon and laughing cow cheese, any cheese really but LC is soft. MorningStar vegie burgers are convenient to use but leave something to be desired. Tofu is great, it soaks up flavors and is soft. I find hard or solid protein like steak or chicken hard to process. Fresh fish is my favorite, never the frozen crusted or breaded portions, the softer varieties like sole are mild and delicious. I try to keep preparation simple, my advise is, the portions are small, so go for quality. There is never a reason to have a mediocre meal even after surgery. Enjoy life.
