Is there a hormone that is gone after surgery that keeps you from being hungry. The reason I ask is I am still feeling hungry after I eat. A friend of mine had gastric by-pass done and that is what she was told. She says she is never hungry since the surgery. I had mine done on the 19th of Jan. and I feel like I could eat and I don`t seem to get that start to feel full feeling,no discomfort or anything. Please help.

Linda, I was like that too at first. Didn't know what it was like to feel full. One I started eating regular foods I could barely eat a lot at all. Just do as your dietician tells you and you will be fine. Be patient. Mindy
