Cardiogist is holding up surgery

i have completed all necessary classes, tests, groups and still after one year my 1 doctor is holding up my surgery..every time i think he is about to clear me, he comes up with some test he wants me to redo..think i'll just give up

What ever you do don't give up. If you think he is just holding it up ask for a second opinion. Even though we have to listen and follow directions from our dr's does not mean we cannot ask questions. Don't let one person stand in the way of your success. Go eye to eye with him and ask him why he needs the test. Also in very nice conversations with the nurses ask if he is one to hold things up. However if you have any kind of heart issues make sure you follow directions.

oh I really do agree with what calql84health just posted. it can be so very disappointing to keep having all of these different tests thrown at us and all of these obstacles. I thought that I was getting closer also. thought that I had my final visit early this week. no such luck. cardio doc sent me for stress test today and I have an echo test next Friday.
don't give up. your health begs you not to. after all look what has brought us all to this point. keep trying. we will all be here for you. xo
