Hi All!!!

I am new here - going thru the pre op stuff leading up to my June 5 Date with a Sleeve Gastronomy.

Monday I start my pre-op diet phase 1 - sure gonna miss that morning bagel :)

Hi Dellsweig, you are embarking the journey of a lifetime. Remember this is only a tool, so follow the plan provided to you and the weight will come off. There will be some highs and some lows particularly after surgery, don't worry about them, they even out as time goes by. Don't measure your success by what someone else does or did. We are all different and weight comes off at a different pace. Keep us informed as to your progress and ask any question you'd like.

Hello Dellsweig, welcome to the neighborhood. I also am relatively new, joined in April. Have not had my surgery as of yet, waiting on insurance approval. Testing the waters with protein drinks this week to discover which ones I might like. That has been one of the great benefits to this group of people, tips on what to try and where to purchase.
Good luck with your journey. Lacey

Hi Dellsweig, I'm fairly new too and my date is June 10th! So we'll be pretty close. Good luck with your pre op diet and surgery. I know for me, the reality is starting to set in and the emotions are coming full force. The nervousness, the excitement. Well, good luck and keep us posted on your progress.

Lacey, I'm not sure which shakes you've found that you like, but I really like the EAS Advantedge. To me, they seem to taste the best and have really high protein and low sugar. Just thought I'd through that out there as one to try. I hope your insurance process isn't too horribly long. It's so hard to wait when you've decided you're ready.
