Does anyone else here have Group Health insurance in Washington and know what the qualifications are for gastric bypass surgery. I'm hoping they'll approve me with just a bmi of 41.

Your surgeon's office should be helping you with this.
Trying to remember BMI of 41. If you are overweight by 100 pounds you should be approved. If you are close and also have a medical condition such as diabetes or heart disease you will be approved.
I would hope you have found a surgeon, gone to their seminars and asked these questions as well.
If not, then do so. The surgeon's office in general is where you can pick up a lot of information.
