Hi, I'm Amy and I'm new here.

I had gastric bypass on 9/18 and after 4 weeks of following directions, I haven't lost one pound! Frustrated!
Mostly I've dealt with the diet ok, but Saturday I suddenly started sweating like crazy, my face was beet red, and when I got up, I got so dizzy I fell on the floor. The whole thing lasted a few hours and the next day I was weak and fatiqued. Physician's Assistant first thought too much sugar, then low blood sugar, so I don't know what to think.
Anyway, I will stick around and see what I can learn.
Thanks.

Hi Amy, Welcome!!!

What type of diet are you on? Maybe you arent getting enough protein, that could make you weak. Are you drinking lots of fluids?

Thanks, I'm supposed to be getting 60 gms protein over 5-6 meals, not drink 30 minutes before or after meals, but sip fluids all the rest of the time. It's hard to get all that in. I'm thinking I'm going to keep a log to make sure I'm really doing that. It's hard to schedule all that and time out all the pills and supplements I take. Maybe I think I'm doing it, but I'm not. My habit has always been not to eat anything until close to noon, then eat non stop. Now I need to eat twice before noon and again at noon and drink fluids. Yeah, I think a log will help.
Thanks for replying, Cheyenne.
