Hi all. Just found this site. Would like to introduce myself. My name is Kristy. I started this journey on Dec 19, 2011 with my first information class in Peoria Il. It has moved very fast since then. My first appointment with Dr Rossi was 1/13/2012 (Friday the 13th). I got the call with my surgery date on Friday April 13. I will be having Rny on May 29. I am excited. Look forward to getting to know all of you.

YOU ARE LUCKY YOUR JOURNEY SEEMS TO HAVE MOVED QUICKLY FOR YOU. STILL WAITING FOR MY SURGERY DATE. DOES YOUR DR REQUIRE ANY KIND OF PRE-OP WEIGHT LOSS OR SPECIAL PRE-OP DIET?
THIS ROOM IS SO INFORMATIVE AND THE MEMBERS ARE GREAT, THEY'LL ALL BEEN SO PATIENT WITH ME AND MY NUMEROUS QUESTIONS, I LOVE READING OTHERS SUCCESS STORIES AND ALSO LEARNING FROM OTHERS WHO'VE JUST WENT THROUGH THE SURGERY ETC. I FEEL YOU CAN'T HAVE TOO MUCH INFORMATION FOR WE HAVE TO EDUCATE OURSELVES TO KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT.

Thanks all. My doctor requires 5 day preop clear liquid diet. I also have to have upper gi 2 weeks before surgery. I am excited and nervous. I will be here daily to read and post. Have a great daay
